Margaret Help

Margaret was recruited as a general office assistant to ensure that all those important little tasks that keep the office running smoothly are under control. She previously worked for Cable & Wireless (formerly Guernsey Telecoms) for 35 years as an operator answering Directory Enquiry and 999 calls, and then moved to the Directory section and helped with the updating of the yearly phone book. She took voluntary release in 2006, and after a brief spell at the Social Security Department. Margaret joined us in March 2007. She enjoys craft work, writing poems and socialising.
